We are towards the end of our trip and decided that there is nowhere else we would rather spend the last few days of our trip than in Manuel Antonio. Manuel Antonio has no shortage of gorgeous views of the ocean, a fabulous jungle setting, beautiful sunsets, a wide variety of birds, animals and of course, the amazing food.

Oh, and did I mention that the views from the pool are amazing?!

When we arrived back, the town was super crowded, we were spoiled when we came last month.  I think that since there were more people, the wildlife was more hidden and not out in the open.  It was disappointing that this was the only monkey we saw in a distant tree.

Unfortunately, Dave got swimmer’s ear which would not get better and led to him getting sick and was not a fun way to end this otherwise fabulous trip.  We decided to stay out of the waves and have some relaxing pool days where Dave wouldn’t have to get his ears wet.

The sunsets never disappoint and I always end up taking hundreds of photos and it is really hard to only chose a few to post for this blog entry.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Costa Verde has converted all their light covers around the property and hotel rooms with old liquor bottles. I think it is a clever idea and it must take a lot of thought and skill to cut the glass. Here are a few from around the property and our room as well.

The last night of our stay we sat outside on the balcony and watched the sun go down; this picture is my favorite from the entire trip because it captures relaxation and beauty. This was truly a peaceful moment that I caught on camera and it made me so happy to see Dave relaxing and sensing that his aura was calm.

Bye Bye Costa Rica
